Some books are fabulous as books, but then the worst movie of all time. An example of this is the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book compared to the movies. If you were thinking of watching the movie, STOP, don’t watch the movie and read the book instead. These are the 3 worst movies with amazing books.

 

3.  Eragon

This was one of the first book I read over 300 pages, it was one of my favourites, and then they had to wreak it and turn it into a movie. The movie ruined my love for the books (thanks a lot movie producers)

 

2. The golden compass

I read this book in grade 6 and loved it and hated it at the same time. It was a little terrifying for grade 6 me, but when I watched the movie I was horrified, not because it was scary but because it was one of the worst movies I had ever seen, at that moment I was very happy I read the books first.

 

1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians

The Percy Jackson books were some of my all time favourites! When the movie came out I could not wait to see it, finally I had a chance to see it, and it was the worst movie I had ever seen. I was ready punch the movie producer in the face! I loved the books and the movie had scared me for life.
